1. Acceptance and scope
Telemetry Assistant is a telemetry analysis, comparison, and coaching platform for sim racing (e.g. Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, compatible MoTeC formats).
These Terms are an agreement between you ("user") and Vectron Racing Lab ("we"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Privacy Policy complements these Terms and describes personal data processing.
2. The service
We provide features that may include telemetry upload and normalization, comparative lap analysis, interactive reports, plan-based quotas (storage, AI analyses), desktop sync, and technical support.
The service is provided "as is" and may evolve. We may add, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when material to paid plans.
The platform is a sim-racing performance aid. It does not replace a certified race engineer, licensed instructor, or real-world professional driving advice. Recommendations are heuristic and educational; setup, line, and safety decisions remain yours.
3. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 16 (or the digital consent age in your country, if higher) and legally able to contract.
You are responsible for accurate registration data, credential confidentiality, and all activity on your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
Each account is linked to an individual workspace. Do not share credentials or access others' workspaces.
4. Plans, payments, and cancellation
We offer Free, Pro, and Elite plans with different storage, analysis, and feature limits as shown on the pricing page at subscription time.
Paid plans are processed by Stripe (embedded checkout). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges per your billing cycle until cancellation.
You may cancel auto-renewal in Account → Plan; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Downgrades and upgrades may follow Stripe proration rules.
Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, amounts paid for started periods are non-refundable. We review exceptional refund requests case by case via Support.
The Free plan may have operational limits (queues, quotas). We may change prices and limits with notice; price changes for active subscriptions apply at the next renewal.
5. Content and telemetry
You retain ownership of telemetry files, derived reports, and other content you upload ("User Content").
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, transform, and display User Content solely to provide the service, improve reliability (aggregated/anonymized where applicable), and comply with legal obligations.
You represent that you have rights to submitted content and that submission does not violate third-party rights or applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or is technically invalid.
6. Desktop client
The desktop client (Tauri app) complements the dashboard with session sync, automatic upload, and Bearer token authentication.
Installation and use are subject to these Terms. You are responsible for keeping the client updated and securing the device where it is installed.
The client communicates with the API at www.vectronracing.com; we do not guarantee compatibility beyond actively supported OS versions.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• use the service unlawfully or in ways that infringe third-party rights;
• bypass plan limits, quotas, authentication, or workspace isolation;
• reverse engineer, abuse scraping, launch denial-of-service attacks, or exploit vulnerabilities (responsible disclosure is welcome);
• upload malware or content that compromises infrastructure;
• resell or sublicense access without written authorization.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Platform intellectual property
Software, design, trademarks, copy, algorithms, canonical track maps, report templates, and other platform elements (excluding User Content) are owned by Vectron Racing Lab or its licensors.
You acquire no ownership rights beyond a limited license for personal or internal commercial use per your plan.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• we do not guarantee specific lap times, rankings, or sim/real-world performance outcomes;
• we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, user-negligence data loss, or temporary unavailability;
• aggregate direct liability is capped at amounts paid by you in the 12 months before the event (or zero on Free).
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (including fraud or mandatory EU consumer rights).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Vectron Racing Lab against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these Terms, or infringement related to User Content, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account anytime via Account → Security & privacy (deletion request) or Support.
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, security risk, payment default, or legal requirement, with notice when reasonably possible.
After termination, access ends and data is handled per the Privacy Policy and legal retention periods.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version will be published on this page with an effective date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, subject to your right to cancel before a paid plan renewal.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence in the EU/EEA.
For EU consumer disputes, applicable jurisdiction rules under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 or equivalent also apply.
Competent courts: Lisbon, Portugal, unless mandatory law designates another forum.
14. Contact
